The Many Facets of Geriatric Care

The 2008 Long-Term Care Symposium is sponsored by UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health, LP and will be held at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township, PA.

"Looking through the Kaleidoscope: The Many Facets of Geriatric Care" is essential education for Personal Care Home Administrators, Nursing Home Administrators, Case Managers, and Social Workers. The focus of the symposium is on evolving changes in assisting living facilities, the continuum of care process, and geriatric issues including diabetes, sexuality, and stressors.

Continuing Education Credit

UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health LP is an approved provider of continuing education credits for nursing home administrators, personal care home administrators, social workers and case managers. Six continuing education credits (CEUs) will be awarded to administrators, social workers and case managers which is equivalent to 6.0 hours of instruction.

The symposium registration fee includes all charges for CEU credits.
